User Content Policy

This USER CONTENT POLICY (“Policy”) governs the creation, submission, and ownership of content generated by users (“User”) using the KahaniKids.ai application (“App”). By using the App, Users agree to comply with this Policy and understand the terms regarding content ownership and the license you grant us.

1. Content Creation

Story Creation. The App enables Users to create stories, narratives, or other creative content (“Content”) using artificial intelligence (AI) tools provided within the App.

User Responsibility. Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of AI-generated content complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and this Policy. The User must ensure that the content does not violate any third-party rights or contain prohibited material.

2. Ownership and License Grant

Your Ownership. You (or, where the Content is created by or for your child, you on your child’s behalf) retain ownership of the Content you create and submit through the App. We do not take ownership of it.

License You Grant Us. By submitting Content, you grant KahaniKids.ai a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, and display the Content in order to operate the Service — for example, to show a story back to you, save it to reading history, and support parent-gated features like Kahani Club sharing. This license also lets us make minor technical modifications (such as reformatting) necessary to deliver the Content across our Platform.

Promotional Use. We will not use your child’s story, name, or likeness in external marketing or promotional materials outside the Platform without your separate, explicit consent.

Duration. This license lasts as long as the Content remains on the Platform. If you delete your account or request deletion of specific Content under our Privacy Policy, the license ends for that Content, and we remove it from active use, subject to any copy retained as described in our Privacy Policy’s retention terms.

Moral Rights. To the extent needed for us to make routine technical or formatting changes when displaying your Content on the Platform, you agree this is not a violation of any moral rights you hold. We do not otherwise ask you to waive your moral rights in the Content.

No Ownership Claims. KahaniKids.ai does not claim ownership of any third-party intellectual property that may be included in your User Content. All rights to such third-party IP remain with the original IP owners.

3. Prohibited Content

Users may not create or submit Content that:

• Violates any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of third parties.
• Contains obscene, defamatory, libelous, or offensive material.
• Promotes hate speech, violence, discrimination, or any illegal activities.

Content Moderation. The Company reserves the right to review, monitor, and remove any Content at its discretion. Content that violates this Policy or is deemed inappropriate may be removed without notice, and the User’s account may be suspended or terminated.

4. User Representations and Warranties

Ownership and Rights. The User represents and warrants that they have the full right, power, and authority to submit the Content and grant the license described in Section 2, and that the Content does not infringe on any third-party rights and complies with all applicable laws.

Indemnification. The User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to the Content, including any claims of infringement or violation of rights by third parties.

5. Moderation and Enforcement

Automated Moderation. KahaniKids.ai employs automated tools to review and moderate content for compliance with our content guidelines, designed to detect and filter out inappropriate content.

Human Review. In addition to automated moderation, our human moderation team reviews flagged content and takes appropriate action, including removing or modifying content that violates our policies.

Action Against Violations. If your content is found to violate this Policy, we may remove or modify the content, issue a warning or suspend your account, or terminate your access if violations persist. For more information, see our Safety and Moderation Policy.

6. Reporting Infringement or Misuse

If you believe that any User Content on our Platform infringes your intellectual property rights or violates our policies, report it to support@kahanikids.ai with:

• A description of the content in question.
• Proof of ownership of the IP or evidence of policy violation.
• Specific details about where the infringing or inappropriate content is located.

Review and Action. Upon receipt of a valid report, we will investigate the claim and take appropriate action, including removing or modifying the content if necessary, and notify you of the outcome.

7. Content Retention and Deletion

Content Retention. We may retain User Content as required for compliance with legal obligations, disputes, or enforcement of our policies.

Content Deletion. You may request the deletion of your User Content by contacting us at support@kahanikids.ai. Upon verification of your request, we will remove the content from our Platform.

8. License to Use the App

Limited License. The Company grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App solely for creating Content and using the services provided in the App in accordance with this Policy.

Termination of License. The Company may terminate the User’s license to use the App at any time if the User violates this Policy or any other terms and conditions of the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

The Company reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting within the App. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
